Since my family's move to Abilene, Texas, I have been blessed with some pretty incredible opportunities for my business. I have been able to grow my business in ways that I couldn't have imagined and I truly believe God has had His hand in our lives, trying to help us through the huge transition of moving overseas. I was blessed to have won the Leah Maria Couture "Year's Worth of Gowns" giveaway last month and made the decision to pay it forward and do styled model sessions each month for each gown that I receive. This gives families opportunities to not only be able to receive beautifully styled maternity photographs, but also gives them an opportunity to have a newborn session that they may not have been able to do otherwise.
Christina was recommended to me by a fellow military spouse and creative in our area. Christina, a military spouse as well, and just moved to Abilene around the same time my family. Shortly after moving here, they found out they were expecting their third baby (a boy!). I knew Christina and I were meant to connect when I found out she had two girls the same ages as my daughters. Christina loves to get dolled up, so we spent the afternoon with the florist and doing her hair and making sure she was going to have a pampered maternity session she wouldn't forget. Our florist from Bloom Floral Artistry designed some gorgeous floral crowns for her session that would liven up the still drab winter scenery. Seriously it was soooo perfect. The little pops of blush and the extra greenery really completed the look for the photographs. The gown from Leah Mariah Couture was amazing. The color couldn't have been any more gorgeous and Christina felt like a princess the whole time. I can't wait to see what next month will bring and be able to give another momma a maternity experience she wont forget!
