Dawnee | Abilene Texas Maternity Photographer

In Abilene (or Texas in general), everyone knows if you see threatening dark clouds, you make want to keep your eye on the sky for something more than just some rain and hail. In Colorado, we have the luxury of not having to worry about tornados, so as the dark clouds crept up on us during my maternity session with Dawnee and her family, we were pretty relaxed about the possibility of some rain in the clouds above us. What started out as the usual sprinkle, turned into full blown pouring about 5 minutes into our session, sending us "running" down a foothill trying to get my gorgeous momma out of the rain. Despite trying to navigate the storm, we were able to squeeze in some beautiful shot of her and her family!
