Garrett | Newborn Session | West Texas Photographer

Sweet baby Garrett joined me in the studio with his mom and dad for a breathtaking newborn session. I love photographing baby boys because the simplicity of their session (no bows or headbands) helps to really focus on all the little details that can change so quickly as your baby grows.  

This session had to have been one of my fastes newborns yet. He was such a great sleeper and he felt right at home in the studio. This was a breath of fresh air during an extremely hectic time for me! 

As a photographer specializing in maternity and newborn portraiture, I try to plan all of my sessions in advance and with plenty of time between sessions. I had seven of my maternity clients (all of which were having their babies WEEKS apart) call the same week that they had all had their precious babies early! I was both shocked and surprised, but I am always up for a challenge. 

Looking back, I’m not quite sure how I managed to create more hours in the day to have seven newborn sessions in three weeks... but we did it!
