AJ + Emily | Engagement Session Sneak Peek | Abilene Texas Photographer

For the first time since starting my business five or so years ago, I have never had to reschedule a session due to weather.... That is, until Saturday evening, when the most random cloud came over Abilene dumping a torrential amount of rain 5 minutes before our session was supposed to start. It has been a weird couple of days for weather so as I sat and waited to see where our Sunday afternoon storm was headed, I was silently praying we would be blessed with a gorgeous sunset to give this amazing couple a glorious evening of fun and laughter.

Needless to say, prayers were answered and we had the dreamiest light the whole evening. This couple was fab. The only thing that could have made it better would have been the opportunity to photograph on an Arizona cliffside in Pheonix where AJ and Emily were engaged. I can dream, right? We started off our evening in front of the B-1, the airframe AJ is currently training in here at Dyess Air Force Base. I loved getting to tie in a unique location for their session that helped tell their story.

I can't wait to share the rest of AJ and Emily's session! Stay tuned for their follow up blog!
