This week, we launched our Fall Family Sessions and we are sooooo excited to get this season started! It has already started feeling like Fall in Abilene this last week and it definitely has me feeling some cozy flannel jammies and lots of snuggling in the covers. Thankfully the Alexander family's session was spent under a beautiful warm sunset to give us the dreamiest family session leading into this busy season coming up. 

Before launching our fall family sessions, we really wanted to our families to see how important styling is throughout their session and that if tones and patterns are kept neutral, we will be able to focus on the beautifully authentic moments unfolding in their photographs. We styled the Alexander family in blushes, lilac, clean white, and a dusty blue. The subtle hints of color create a naturally beautiful look with the natural elements around them at the location. Choosing a neutral color scheme for fall portraits creates timeless photographs and allows families to be able to use these photographs through their homes without them presenting as a seasonal portrait. I always recommend choosing a color scheme that goes well with their home so when they invest in their portraits, they can use the portraits around their home for many years to come.
