Has anyone noticed it has been a little more quiet than usual around here these days? This last month has been full of so many sessions, but a social media hiatus has allowed me some to time recoup, plan, and draw out what this year has for my business, my family, and our future here in Abilene. We were quietly awaiting news on deployments and if we would be moving and while we will have a deployment this year, we WILL get to spend one additional year here, meaning I get to continue watching all of my beautiful babies grow through the next year!

A few weeks ago, I had the honor of getting to photograph Brittany Pellez, the Abilene KTAB News anchor, and her sweet family. While we were spending time together during the session, I was able to tell her about some of the things I do around Abilene, including the military homecomings that I gift to military families. She decided that she wanted to do a news story sharing the gift of these homecoming sessions that I provide to the community. During the newborn session, the news station stopped by to film some of our session and while it was totally out of my comfort zone, I am excited to be able to share what I do to give back to the community.

The new year has been blessed with so many brand new, squishy babies and I am thoroughly enjoying all of the baby snuggles lately! This bitty squish was so yummy! She slept like a rock and was such a perfect little poser! I can’t wait to share the rest of this sweet session!
