O'Fallon and St. Louis Family Photographer | Outdoor Milestone Session and Cake Smash

One of my favorite parts of being a newborn photographer are all the fun experiences I get to document through my First Year clients. I got to see this precious family through their pregnancy announcement, maternity session, Drew’s newborn session, six month session, and now celebrating Drew’s first birthday session! If you take a peek back at The Clark’s pregnancy announcement, big sister Emma had a ton of enthusiasm towards her new baby brother, and you can tell that love has not subsided. She is still totally head-over-heels for Drew and smothers him with all the kisses. She loves him so much, she even helped out with his cake smash…. Towards the end of our session together, it was time for the cake smash. Who wouldn’t want to smash into a cake and eat as much as possible while mom still allows it? I know I would! But let’s be honest, I want to dig in with a fork…. And so did Drew….. His sister and dad were up for anything, though! This was when our session took a fun turn and I am so glad it did!
